We've been keeping busy over here at the Dryrun HQ - between new feature roll outs and other opportunities, Dryrun's been selected as a Top-32 Canadian FinTech company for SIBOS Conference in Toronto during the 3rd week of October.

Just on the heels of Intuit's 100K App Showdown announcement, we're heading to Toronto - stay tuned to our socials while we're at conference networking with delegates, competitors, partners, and customers from all over the world about why cash flow forecasting is more important than ever in today's global economy.

This year's conference centers around ‘Building for the Future’ and issues like cybersecurity, Artificial Intelligence (AI), blockchain, geopolitical and regulatory shifts on finance, and data and identity are on the agenda. The conference has four streams.:

• Banking. The future of payments, distributed ledger systems, and correspondent banking.
• Compliance. Financial crime compliance and how banks are responding.
• Securities. How market infrastructures and players are responding to regulatory changes.
• Technology (our favourite!). How technology is improving finance by delivering value to customers.

There's always lots to see and do, from in-depth panel sessions, structured debates, new companies, and hundreds of speakers from a range of backgrounds and countries of the world.

Since the 1980s, Sibos, organized by the Society for Worldwide Interbank Financial Telecommunication (SWIFT), has been an important gathering for companies and industry specialists to strategize financial changes throughout the industry and use the meeting opportunity to collaborate and network. The annual Sibos conference helps us all understand and shape the forces that impact the global financial community and their end-users, the people.
