Dryrun Welcomes Director of Business Development
June 19, 2019, EDMONTON AB – Dryrun cash flow forecasting software is proud to announce and welcome Jeremy Burke as the company’s Director of Business Development. Responsibilities in his new role will include sales team leadership over Dryrun’s Partner and Accountant Success channel, driving revenue, and contributing in product and vendor selection, as well as management responsibilities.
Burke joins the Dryrun executive team after a decade with Intuit Canada, head office Mississauga, Ontario. Intuit is the leading cloud accounting technology platform worldwide and provides solutions and services to both business owners and accounting professionals globally. It was there that Burke served as the company’s first Canadian Business Development Manager. He began his successful tenure at the company as Intuit Canada’s first outbound sales agent and grew his team to 35 people as he developed sales processes.
In his most notable quarter as a member of the Small Business sales team, Burke leveraged Intuit’s Ontario sales to approximately 10M and shortly thereafter he advanced to the role of Intuit Canada’s first BDM, and the third BDM globally. As the first Canadian BDM to run Intuit’s corporate-sponsored business events for accountants and bookkeepers, Burke developed successful professional development and networking programs such as Edmonton’s Breakfast Club, and the Edmonton Entrepreneurial Professional Network where he remains a welcome guest.
In recent years and until his acquisition, Burke directed Intuit Canada’s Alberta business development efforts toward accounting firms with 3M+ revenues.
“We are very pleased to have Jeremy on board as he’ll bring a fresh perspective on process optimization and business development across our channels,” states Blaine Bertsch, co-founder and CEO of Dryrun. “He has demonstrated experience in business development which is invaluable internally and to our clients.”
In his personal life, Jeremy is a proud husband and father of three children. He spends all his evenings and weekends coaching community teams in wrestling, hockey, and soccer.
